About Lock in

Studying for a test usually means rereading notes and hoping. The things that actually work, like testing yourself, coming back to mistakes and practising under time, take planning that nobody has time for the night before.

Lock in does that planning. It knows the topics for your year, works out what you’re weakest at, and gives you the next question to answer. When you write an answer, it tells you what was missing.

Students from Year 7 to uni who want to do better in their subjects without a tutor’s price tag. It’s also for parents who want to know their child is practising, not just scrolling.

It isn’t a replacement for teachers. AI marking can make mistakes, and your teacher knows your course and your work better than any app.

Lock in is a small independent project. There are no investors and no ads. It’s paid for by the passes students buy, which is why they’re one-time payments with no auto-renew.

The AI features are powered by Claude, made by Anthropic. Payments are handled by Stripe, and accounts by Google’s Firebase.
